On May 17, 2025, our casino team joined the vibrant community of Omak, Washington, for the annual Color Walk—a spirited event dedicated to raising awareness for mental health. Organized by Okanogan Behavioral HealthCare (OBHC), this year’s walk was a testament to the power of community, color, and camaraderie.

A Day of Color and Connection

Held at Eastside Park, the Color Walk featured a series of walks around the park’s fitness trail, each infused with bursts of non-toxic colored powder. Participants, including our team, donned white attire, transforming into canvases of color as they walked, laughed, and connected.

The event wasn’t just about walking; it was a celebration of mental wellness. Attendees enjoyed:

Free Hotdog Lunches: Served on a first-come, first-serve basis, providing a delicious mid-walk treat.

Contests: Participants showcased their creativity in umbrella decorating and costume contests, with winners announced around lunchtime.

Community Engagement: Local organizations set up booths offering resources, games, and activities, fostering a sense of unity and support.
