Salary Grade: $14.54 p/hr. (NE2)

Summary:

This is a full-time, seasonal position.  Primary focus is to monitor and assist in the RV Park.  Provide parking directions and property information for patrons while meeting the standards outlined by 12 Tribes Resort Casino management.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Proactively approach, greet and acknowledge all patrons in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times in a quick and responsive manner.
  • Greet and welcome each patron in a courteous manner.
  • Direct patrons to correct RV space.
  • Transports patrons to and from designated locations.
  • Provides information to guests regarding casino promotions, services, local attractions, etc.
  • Resolve and document guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain constant communication of arrivals to ensure no overbookings.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of the RV Park.
  • Follows all departmental procedures regarding key control.
  • Reports accidents or injuries to management and/or security immediately.
  • Reports unsafe conditions and anticipates hazards constantly.
  • Effectively communicates with Hotel Manager and supervisor and reports any mechanical difficulties and/or maintenance needs of vehicles.
  • Conducts routine safety inspections of company vehicle.
  • Maintains company, employee, and patron confidentiality.
  • May be assigned other duties to promote the goals and objectives of the corporation.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Minimum Qualifications):

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Washington State Driver’s License.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a non-gaming permit.
  • General knowledge of the area including hotel locations and attractions.
  • Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services, and facilities.
  • Must have strong communication skills (including verbal, non-verbal, and proper word choice).
  • Must have excellent customer service relation skills.
  • Must be able to work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays and possible overtime.
  • Must be able to drive an automatic and manual transmission.

 

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

  • Manual and finger dexterity as required to perform daily job duties.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to frequently run for short bursts during shift.
  • Ability to frequently stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to frequently bend, squat and reach.
  • Sufficient visual acuity to write, recognize printed materials, mechanical/equipment gauges, and notice non-verbal behavior.
  • Speech and hearing ability to project voice to small and large audiences, carry on telephone conversations, hear and grasp verbal communications and equipment prompts.
  • Frequently exposed to a high level of noise in work environment.
  • Frequently exposed to outside adverse weather conditions, including variations in temperature and precipitation.
