This position is a temporary position with an estimated length of one year of service. Primary focus is to work closely with management and safety person of each site to identify risk related to COVID-19 in an effort to put mechanisms into place to protect our team members, guests, and our company.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for identifying COVID-19 risks throughout the organization, reporting and monitoring risk management issues and developing methodologies for reducing risk throughout the organization.
• In relation to COVID-19, the incumbent conducts inspections, skill training, emergency preparedness, proper job instruction, rules and practices, job analysis/procedures, disposal procedures, and protective equipment.
• Conducts contact tracing.
• Monitor and comply with public health and safety standards during the COVID-19 crisis.
• Establishes and maintains close communication with public health officials, CEO, HR, COO, GM’s, and other members of management that must be included on incidents and near misses.
• Works jointly with surveillance and Tribe’s contact tracers when positive cases arise.
• Provide assistance in developing and updating policies and procedures related to COVID-19 as needed.
• Analyzes data to determine training and development endeavors.
• Drafts curriculum for trainings, promotes training efforts, and conducts training sessions for contact tracing and any other COVID safety related training.
• Evaluates and measures outcomes of employee training.
• Develops and compiles reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintains accurate and organized file system.
• Orders safety and training supplies.
• Operates and maintains office equipment, including but not limited to: computer, programmable telephone system, programmable fax, and multi-use photocopier.
• Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and/or overtime.

Knowledge and Abilities:

• Some college and/or work experience that totals a minimum of thirty-six (36) months that demonstrates the ability to successfully complete the duties of the position. REQUIRED
• Computer literate with Moderate Proficiency in Windows based programs.
• Excellent spelling and grammar abilities.
• Ability to author well-organized reports that are clear and convincing.
• Ability to analyze data from multiple information ports by comparing and contrasting data to draw a conclusion or to identify trends.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and outside business contacts.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to effectively and efficiently lead and complete multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Skill in identifying and resolving administrative problems under pressure.
• Excel in working independently and as a member of a team.
• Must have a working knowledge of Tribal and Federal laws to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, ordinances and established policies and procedures.
• Ability to maintain the confidential information regarding the company, employees, and patrons.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must possess a current and valid Tribal Gaming License.

Physical Demands:

• Manual and finger dexterity as required to perform daily job duties.
• Ability to frequently sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to frequently walk or stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to frequently bend, squat and reach.
• Requires the ability to comprehend complex issues.
• Requires sufficient visual acuity to write, recognize printed materials, computer screen, and notice non-verbal behavior.
• Requires speech and hearing ability to project voice to small and large audiences, carry on telephone conversations, hear and grasp verbal communications and equipment prompts.
• Ability to drive in adverse weather conditions.
• Frequently exposed to high levels of noise and tobacco smoke.
