Responsible for the accuracy of data input and participates with on-going maintenance and dependability of player club accounts and systems. Provides assistance for the Player’s Club and marketing promotions in a customer service friendly, efficient and profitable manner that promotes superior staff, customer and vendor relations. Responsible for promoting the day to day membership of the Player’s Club by welcoming customers into the casino, learning customer names and offering the highest standard of customer service. The Player’s Club will be responsible for selling event tickets and promoting events on a daily basis. Knowledge of promotion and all amenities for all properties.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains strict confidentiality of all patron accounts
• Must have excellent customer relation skills, both in person, on the phone, and written.
• Must maintain the highest level of professionalism while managing sensitive issues; demonstrate empathy while providing thoughtful and prompt resolutions
• Must have excellent public speaking skills; will make daily announcements over intercom system in an upbeat exciting manner.
• Promotes the Player’s Club by assisting players through the membership process by inputting customer data into Casino Market Place (CMP) system
• Responsible for the integrity of the CMP data and making sure to obtain and verify all relevant information including e-mail from new members and existing members.
• Maintains thorough knowledge of the CMP system, related promotions and procedures, plus all elements of the Casinos Games and amenities in order to supply updated and accurate information to patrons including notes, flags, and other identifying factors.
• Coordinates, designs, and/or assists with promotional displays and events
• Assist in growing the database; identifies and initiates relationships with new guests on the gaming floor for possible enrollment into the Player’s Club while promoting card amenities and upcoming promotions/events
• Provides assistance with bus program
• Alerts supervisor and management of guests’ special needs
• Provides a safe and clean environment for patrons; maintaining a clean and organized appearance of work area
• Responsible for maintaining Player’s Club supplies and inventory of promotional collateral and guest amenities.
• Evaluates complaints concerning player tracking system, and/or promotions and refer those complaints to designated departments for investigation and resolution in written form.
• Performs a variety of advanced clerical duties, including but not limited to: data input, multi-line phone system, facsimile, email, and multifunction copier/scanner
• Adheres to the system of internal controls, Casino’s and department policies and procedures
• Works closely with other Departments and Managers
• Operates point-of-sale system, including money handling and generating daily reports
• Greet patrons attending entertainment and special events
• Must be familiar with the program flow, rules and regulations of the event and entry or exit points of the event center
• Examine tickets or passes
• Assist guest in finding exits or provides other instructions or assistance in case of emergency
• Count and record number of tickets collected
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned
• Ensures compliance with all Tribal, State, Federal and NIGC regulations
• Professional appearance is required at all time

Knowledge and Abilities:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Some demonstrated customer service experience and/or training or a combination of education and experience
• Must have 6 months of money handling experience preferred
• Must be able to obtain a valid Tribal Gaming License/Class III
• Must be computer literate with proficiency in Windows based programs
• Must have strong communication skills
• Must have excellent customer relation skills and organizational skills
• Willing to work various shifts including evenings, holidays , weekends, and overtime
• Reliable transportation to work

Physical Demands:

• Manual and finger dexterity as required to perform daily job duties.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to frequently sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to frequently walk or stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to frequently bend, squat and reach.
• Frequently exposed to a high level of noise in the work environment.
• Frequently exposed to tobacco smoke,
• Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, including variations in temperature and precipitation.
• May be exposed to belligerent, combative and/or intoxicated patrons.
