The Multimedia Artist develops engaging media for a variety of promotions and special events for three gaming properties and all departments within while working under the 12 Tribes Colville Casino’s brand integrity. Collaborate with Marketing and Agency to achieve maximum engagement and effectiveness in design through print, video, and motion graphics. Layouts include but are not limited to: promotional materials, newsletters, advertisements, brochures, and other marketing materials for 12 Tribes Colville Casinos.

Essential Functions:

Support Communications, Advertising, and Marketing team members in effectively storytelling and converting consumers through appealing visual aids

Create graphics using computer programs, illustrations, and/or film and photography that identify a product or convey a message in all format types including mp4, gif, jpg, pdf, and others as required

Film and/or photograph properties, ceremonies, special events, etc., and edit material for promotional purposes with audio

Ability to edit film and photography to fit an overall concept from start to finish

On a daily basis, it is required that there be effective communication to all vendors and in house departments to accommodate needs and requests in a timely manner

Has the desire and ability to work well both independently and cross functionally

Must be detail oriented and able to work within deadlines while prioritizing requests

Responsible for logo and brand management including regulation of color and usage of brand identity

Translate graphic requests from internal departments into designs that are visually enticing, easy to understand, and emotionally engaging

Create and maintain design and process documentation

Performs other duties or special projects as assigned

Knowledge and Abilities:

Associates degree or vocational degree in graphic design and One (1) year graphic and multimedia design experience; OR

High School Diploma or GED and 3 years’ experience that demonstrates the ability to fulfill the requirements of the position

Must have demonstrated knowledge in development, advertising, marketing, displays, and design

Intermediate proficiency in Windows based programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Intermediate proficiency with Adobe Applications including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects are required

Must be able to pass a test that expresses both a grasp of concept, time management, and overall competency

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure

Ability to successfully operate video and sound recording devices

Must have exceptional communications skills, both oral and written

Ability to be flexible, self-starter, and tackle multiple tasks

Demonstrated ability working as a team player

Ability to follow directions

Ability to imagine at a higher frequency while using creativity to produce products

Ability to creatively apply concepts in different forms of art and software systems/applications

Ability to provide and receive constructive criticism

Knowledge of copyright laws and ability to apply all laws related to copyrights

May be required to work variable work hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Must obtain and maintain a valid non-gaming permit

Physical Demands:

Manual and finger dexterity for operation of a personal computer, routine filing and other paperwork

Ability to sit, stand or walk for prolonged periods of time 

Ability to bend, squat, reach, push, and pull on a frequent basis

Be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Ability to comprehend complex issues.

Sufficient visual acuity to write, recognize printed materials, computer screen, and notice non-verbal behavior.

Ability to project voice to small and large audiences, carry on telephone conversations, hear and grasp verbal communications and equipment prompts.

Must be able to drive in adverse weather conditions.

May be exposed to a high level of noise in the work environment

May be exposed to tobacco smoke, fumes or airborne particles
