Marketing Coordinator- 1 FULL TIME

Salary Grade: $17.22 - $23.29 DOE

Summary:

This individual will contribute to existing marketing programs, while assisting with the development of new and annual initiatives aligned with company goals.  The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including promotions, advertising, branding, direct mail coordination, and social media.  The Marketing Coordinator must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.

Essential Functions:

  • Conduct research and analyze player tracking to benefit marketing efforts; Creatively align internal and external needs in order to design and implement successful marketing campaigns
  • Manage effective tracking systems for online marketing activities
  • Identify and analyze competitors
  • Collaborate with design to produce exceptional promotional materials
  • Examine marketing copy for inconsistencies and/or errors and adjust accordingly
  • Organize promotional and event activities
  • Coordinate, implement, and input direct mail program(s) in accordance with Player
  • Development for several campaigns
  • May attend meetings as a representative of the marketing department, will be responsible for taking of the meeting notes and distributing it to team members
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy
  • Quantify all campaign efforts to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation producing an ROI for any actions taken
  • Maintain all marketing storage areas as well as log, update, and report on all marketing/promotions inventory. Will also oversee the maintenance of marketing, equipment, and supplies
  • Manages video content on all video monitors
  • Expedites purchasing, storing, distribution of marketing materials, and reconciling invoices while tracking the marketing products budget
  • Routinely audit marketing platforms such as: website, social, marketing collateral, digital signage etc. to ensure all posted copies are accurate, up to date, and contains relevant material

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Associates degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing or related field preferred and 2 or more years of experience in corporate promotions and/or special events, direct casino experience required; OR equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the abilities to fulfill the position
  • Must have outstanding organizational and research skills
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Must be computer literate with proficiency in Windows based programs
  • Intermediate abilities to operate MS Office software including Word, Excel, etc.
  • Solid working knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools
  • Experience with research using data analytics software such as: intermediate knowledge of Bally’s Intelligence, and intermediate knowledge of Casino Marketplace
  • Ability to be flexible and willing to learn as much as possible about marketing within all departments
  • Able to make simple calculations based on all types of measurements and using trial and error technique
  • Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role to achieve company goals
  • Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance and be a team player
  • Ability to be flexible, self-starter, and tackle multiple tasks and organized
  • Ability to perform duties independently with little to no supervision, operating from established practices and procedures and according to gaming regulations
  • May be required to work variable work hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to travel at short notice to other properties
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and qualify for company’s insurance
  • Must possess or have ability to obtain a valid Tribal Gaming License

Physical Demands:

  • Manual and finger dexterity for operation of a personal computer, routine filing and other paperwork
  • Ability to sit, stand or walk for prolonged periods of time 
  • Ability to bend, squat, reach, push, and pull on a frequent basis
  • Be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to comprehend complex issues.
  • Sufficient visual acuity to write, recognize printed materials, computer screen, and notice non-verbal behavior.
  • Ability to project voice to small and large audiences, carry on telephone conversations, hear and grasp verbal communications and equipment prompts.
  • Must be able to drive in adverse weather conditions.
  • May be exposed to a high level of noise in the work environment
  • May be exposed to tobacco smoke, fumes or airborne particles
