A busser is responsible for setting tables, clearing tables, restocking plates and sometimes serving food to guests as runners to lighten the load of the F&B Associates.

Essential Functions:

Participate in a team environment that promotes sales and service success.

Clears and sets up tables according to company standards.  Assist with food delivery to guests.

Stocks and sets up work area.

Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for team and guests. 

Empties garbage cans located in kitchen and dish room.

Commit to maintain the culture through the evolution of the business.

Actively participate in all restaurant related meetings and training sessions, must apply learned skills on the job. 

Must be receptive to feedback and coaching.

Must be a team player and taking charge of responsibilities from other members of the staff in situations that require additional manpower.

Possess knowledge of all food and beverage menus.

Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Abilities:

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

A solutions oriented individual often using critical thinking skills to promote self-use and maximize productivity when different areas of the restaurant are affected.

Requires excellent communication skills and hospitality management experience, especially with answering customer questions about menu, restaurant history, food standards, etc. 

Must possess necessary coping mechanisms to work under high pressure situations in a pleasant and professional level, dealing with difficult customers or overflowing workload.

Ability to maintain company, employee and patron information confidentiality.

Must be able to obtain a valid Tribal Gaming License.

Must possess a valid Washington State Food Handler’s Card.

Must be able to work various days including holidays.

Physical Demands:

Manual and finger dexterity as required to perform daily job duties.

Ability to frequently walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.

Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

Ability to occasionally lift, move, push and/or pull up to 100 pounds

Ability to frequently bend, squat and/or reach.

Occasionally works near or around electricity.

Frequently works near or around mechanical moving parts.

Occasionally exposed to vibration.

Occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.

Frequently exposed to a high level of noise in the work environment.
