Responsible for coordinating all marketing programs and initiatives including direct mail. Artwork production, email, social media, publicity, special events, and promotional activities. In addition, this position is responsible for assisting in the creation of and being accountable to an annual marketing plan and budget in accordance with company guidelines.
Responsible for overseeing the creative, media placement, publicity placement, direct mail, special events, promotions and public relations related activities in coordination with marketing vendors.
Coordinate event program to encourage Players Club card usage and track play of event entrants in group tracking.
Maintain a monthly reconciliation binder with separate categories each month for print, radio, TV, outdoor, direct mail, special event, promotion, and production insertion/job orders. Reconcile bills with insertion/job orders as they come in. Investigate and follow up on any variances. Submit correct bills for payment to accounts payable in accordance with company procedures.
Coordinate company direct mail programs in accordance with Marketing Manager and company guidelines.
Monitor and track marketing initiatives from the point of conception through execution across all channels, including direct mail, artwork, website, signage, social networks, mobile, email and others.
Assist in the creation of annual marketing plan and budget in accordance with Marketing Manager’s input. Stay within budget and communicate variances and variance forecasts during monthly budget review meetings and in consultation with the Marketing Manager on an ongoing basis.
Maintain a monthly budget spreadsheet showing budget to actual spends in all marketing expense areas. Attach monthly variance/exception reports each month spreadsheet as applicable.
Maintain two monthly binders; one for keeping copies of all print and advertising and publicity copies and one for keeping copies of all competitor print advertising and publicity copies (including photos of outdoor advertising).
Maintain a cataloged library of all company and competitor electronic advertising and publicity.
Monitor any vendor activities from inception to completion including marketing agency, event planners, media/signmaker(s), ect.
Ensure advertisements are approved by necessary departments/individuals in accordance with company guidelines prior to releasing them for publication, distribution or display.
Monitor and direct all media and publicity placement in accordance with company guidelines.
Assist in the resolution of company and vendor challenges.
Ensure that all collateral materials are updated, distributed and kept on display.
Assist marketing staff in planning events that promote the partner program.
Maintain confidentiality of information.
Manual and finger dexterity for operation of a personal computer, routine filing and other paperwork
Ability to sit, stand or walk for prolonged periods of time
Be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
May be exposed to a high level of noise in the work environment
May be exposed to tobacco smoke, fumes or airborne particles
