Customer Service Attendant - 4 On-Call

Reports To: Assistant Casino Manager

Summary:

Takes event tickets, directs patrons to seating: directs patrons to authorized parking areas. Customer Service Attendant will provide a friendly customer service, efficient and profitable manner that promotes superior staff, customer and vendor relations.

Essential Functions:

  • Greet patrons attending the entertainment events.
  • Must be familiar with the program flow, rules and regulations of the event and entry or exit points of the event center.
  • Examine tickets or passes to verify authenticity, using criteria such as color and date issued.
  • Guide patrons to exits or provide other instructions or assistance in case of emergency.
  • Provide assistance with patron’s special needs, such as helping those with wheelchairs.
  • Count and record number of tickets collected.
  • Evaluates complaints concerning customer service and refer those complaints to designated departments for investigation and resolution.
  • Works closely with other department members, guests, and employees in a positive manner.
  • Promotes good employee relations by conducting themselves in a professional manner and being supportive.
  • Work closely in a positive manner with other employees and guests to ensure an enjoyable guest experience and working environment.
  • Responsible for maintaining front area supplies and maintaining the appearance of the work area.
  • Assists in all promotional events as directed.
  • Professional appearance is required at all time.
  • Maintains company, employee and patron information confidentiality.
  • Must be able to work variable hours, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays and possible overtime.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must have 6 months of money handling experience preferred.
  • Must be computer literate with proficiency in Windows based programs.
  • Must be able to obtain a valid Tribal Gaming License.
  • Must successfully complete Title 31, Banking Secrecy Act training.
  • Must be able to obtain a current and valid Washington State Food Handler’s Card.
  • Must be able to obtain a current and valid Washington State Liquor Control Board Class 12 Mixologist Permit.
  • Must have strong communication skills.
  • Must have excellent customer relation skills.
  • Must be able to work variable hours, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays and possible overtime.

Physical Demands:

  • Manual and finger dexterity as required to perform daily job duties.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to frequently sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to frequently walk or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to frequently bend, squat and reach.
  • Frequently exposed to a high level of noise in the work environment.
  • Frequently exposed to tobacco smoke.
  • Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, including variations in temperature and precipitation.
  • May be exposed to belligerent, combative and/or intoxicated patrons.
